    Update:
Funny you should mention the Galaxy S2... We Have already got the mimics half working with it, just trying to make the touch more fluid like we did with the iPhone. Yes, the pre-requisite of Android support will be that the device needs to have HDMI or TVout.

I have a new module specifically for Android thats already in production and will be available soon and have added some interesting features to this one. This module called the "X2module" will seamlessly intergrate with selected Androids without the need of any modding/hacking or rooting. So it will be true plug and play like the mimics for iPhone. Not all Androids are created equal which means that some Androids will require rooting for seamless intergration to an external touchscreen.

For all you guys (and gals) waiting for the auto switcher add-on for the mimics, it will be available any day now!!

Cool thanks for the update. Any time frame for it? PM me if you need a beta tester or when you have them for sale.

I will be looking forward to it.

The X2 is already getting produced along with the mimics addon. They are both due by the end of the month. The current X2module probably wont work with the galaxy, as it supports other high-end Androids. The mimics can work with the galaxy, but you will loose some features which are added in the X2 specifically for Android users. When I get something 100% working for the galaxy I will inform you.

I'm currently testing 5 Androids, 3 work with the X2, 1 just wont work with anything, and the galaxy is almost there. I will add devices to my list as I test them.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you. Like I said I will have my GS2 next week sometime and be waiting for the module to be ready. I guess it is time to start buying the Dash kit for the car and start relocating the stock radio (damn BMW and their over engineering everything).

Well I got the phone, unfortunately there is some data connection problems with them but I am hopeful they will be fixed soon. Anyway, I am ready to buy a module as soon as they are ready (as long as the data problem get fixed anyway) Let me know.

I have'nt had a chance yet to finish getting the mimics fully working with the SGS2 as im flat out with the X2module firmware. I will get back to it soon. Kinda juggling a few projects at the moment.

If everything is well the mimics should fully support the SGS2 by end of next week. Just one minor issue I need to rectify.. Fingers crossed.

Awesome news, I have a issue now though, I returned the phone because of the data issue I mentioned before. But I and going to get the ATT version since I already have a contract with them anyway. But I do have a iPhone 3gs now so if I can get the current Mimics and have it support the SGS2 when I get it again with just a software update then that would be great.
