I don't like the lag, I'm gonna stick with display out to my Kenwood head unit for now. I have the room, so I might just make the jump to an iPad in the dash. If rumors of a smaller iPad are true, even better. 7-8" would be perfect for me.

The iPhone does'nt do a good job of streaming composite video super fast. The lag you are seeing is actually the delay in video from the iPhone, and not the remote touch. VGA and HDMI adaptors use Apple's high speed digital DisplayPort protocol, which has virtually no lag. If you have no choice but to use composite video in you system you will find that if you use a HDMI-to-Composite, or a VGA-to-composite you will be back up to speed again. You will also get better image quality, not HDMI by all means but better than the standard iPhone composite output. Composite is acceptable for general in-car use, if you want to smash angry birds while driving I suggest using HDMI output

Foster182 (video above) is running HDMI directly to the monitor. You should see there is a big performance difference. Also, VegasNate didn't calibrate his screen properly (you can see the touch point is off) which makes it look slower than it actually is.

    Hope this helps.

LOL, I had limited time in the Charger and needed to make sure the switching board functioned properly(it does). I promise to do better next time!

Also, so far my only option has been composite video inputs. Looking for a reasonable HDMI to composite adaptor.

If you can find a credible source for this 7" iPad rumor (which has been in air sine the 1st iPad launch) then please post. I doubt there's any truth to that rumor as we all know how Apple locks down any release of info on future plans. You'll be waiting at that bus stop forever

I heard that rumour a while back too, though I heard of a 7" iPod instead. Might be called the iPid or something.

Android version module uses a new board that caters for extra features possible with the Androis OS. Also no need hack/mod you compatible device, so you won't void your warrantly. just install my APK, and your good to go.

I added some custom gestures to simulate the "back" and "settings" button. You can also mount external buttons (optional)

    Sorry if already been answered.

When you say it works with OEM touch screen, do you support 5 wire capacitive ?

Or how about other systems like 3M touchscreen that are USB ?

That would make for easy switch to many people with current PC setup using non 4 wire setups ?

Thank you, and android set up looks wicked awesome.

This was mainly intended for intergration into OEM or standalone systems. From what I can gather, every car that I have come across has a 4-wire connection. So at the moment you need a 4-wire touchsreen to be able to use this system. Its very hard to cater for every type of system, but we are doing our best to support as much as possible.
