The pioneer is nice, shame its limited right now but it will probably get hacked anyway. Watch the other company release their own, the chinese might release something very soon too.
4 apps, blocked while moving, so no passenger control? Nanny pioneer...lol

Sad, the app only works with their hardware somehow...

Dam so close to what I was dreaming about last year
Xoom tablet too actually
I was thinking of something that would be a phone/tablet on the go and then a pc when docked. Oh well ...
But back to the point here.
1.) was wondering how forward looking is the module? Will it be able outdated once iOS 5 comes out? .... errr, should be more like will the module be able to update it's firmware (if it has one) to somehow play catch up with apple?
2.) Can the module expand? I mentioned the above dock and go idea because I can see a twinky dinky iphone memory being really a bummer and still allows a carpc to keep it's place under my seat. So was thinking it would be sweet and worth $200+ if you could tag on
a. a external HD to port around my music/videos
b. external mic interface to help reduce the BT echo ... I'm betting this occurs because F**** Apple doesn't really put in any real effort into the BT software
c. external USB interface to port in GPS antenna and/or OBD sensors
Now, if a,b and c were included
3.) how about some kind of docking solution for phone? This would be a great up-sell
Yeah, I'd sell my carpc and what not I've been collecting to run this
Anyway, congrats on an awesome first start unit!!!
i was wondering if i can use my sony xav-70bt touch screen instead of lilliput monitor and just get the mimics module?
not unless you know how to reverse-engineer the touch overlay..

Does anyone think this module would work for my Lilliput 869GL-80NP/C/T?
Hi,
1) No it won't be outdated. The board really is OS independent. The boards job is simply to take 4 wire touch, and transmit those signals over bluetooth
2) Yes the module has lots of expansion goodies for the future
3) Docks are pretty mass market, anyone that holds the iphone in landscape will work. I use the mgrip in my car.
hmmmsounds yummy
Just wondering ... how far off into the future?![]()
