Because I was the remote control.

if there was only 3 channels, what did you need to change so much?!? ;)

you should have rigged a string to it so you didn't need to get up..

I'm not sure if this was a burn or not. What year was there only 3 channels? We had 12 channels and my father (RIP) could never figure out what to watch. When we got our first remote TV, I had to get a gym membership immediately just to maintain my condition.

You know, the more I look at that TV, I'm thinking small electric motor, seat and steering then watch out smart cars at the car shows!

12 channels? We only had 8 (before cable finally came into Detroit in the mid 80's).

I was able to pull in CBC on 9 for HNIC too.

Don Cherry was a favorite TV personality of mine.
