So, I'm curious, will this support some of the USB devices for sale at mp3car.com? e.g. the Sirius Satellite Radio Interface, HD Radio Interface, etc.?

    Thanks,
    Shep

Can it? Yes. Does it currently? No. Software would have to be written to make any use of the radios, but the both communicate via serial so its possible.

USB audio would require not only a driver added to the kernel, but an interpreter that assigns the device as the proprietary audio device.

I've always wanted to learn to write drivers; but alas, both my lack of general programming skills and my linux/Android noobosity make that fairly impossible. (I'm really good with wires & chips, though.) But I WOULD be willing to contribute towards the time & effort of someone who DOES know what they're doing. Is there an emoticon for "Please"?

Project is going well.. I was waiting on some parts in order to do the next part of the blog. They've arrived today, but as a lot of us know sometimes the connectors shown in the pics aren't always the ones mailed .

The next blog will be up in the next day or so and will lay out my plan for an always on power solution!

What's the boot time on this? And what kind of front end can we expect to use with this?
