Hmm just today, Xenarc told me they are out of stock for two more weeks were you able to order? I am very interested to know - if we had them we would be selling them, i would even pre sell if i could get a ship date!
So I wanted to order a Xenarc 700IDT. Emailed Mp3Car.com about a week ago. Got a nice quick response saying Xenarc is out of stock, and no idea when they will be available, but will put the information on the website when they are.
Called Xenarc this week, they have enough stock for backorders with one left. Wanted to call Mp3Car to see why there is a cookie error when trying to order, and order one.
Called Mp3Car and got a recording. No live person to talk to. I really dont like the idea of having to type to communicate. I just want to order a screen and find out why Xenarc is saying it readily available yet MP3Car is acting like its on heavy backorder.
Xenarc stated they recieve shipments WEEKLY of that unit. Why not Mp3Car? Hell I cant even order it as your cookie thing wont let me, I can order anything else without the error.

No we do not take sales calls.
Why: We found that we were spending our days answering questions that people could have found the answers to on the forums - like should I get motherboard X with case Y.
So, instead of getting some real work done, like shipping orders on time, looking for new products on the forum, etc., we were just sitting on the phone all day long.
We decided that we had a lot of work to do throughout the day, and with the need to provide better service to customers, it just made sense to communicate via email. It also fits with who we are and who most of our customers are - continuously connected, car computing enthusiasts.
Email communication allows for flexibility in the work day in terms of responding to customers needs. I generally answer all CRM questions within 1 hour of their arrival, so there is no serious delay.
We are doing a better job at providing customer service via email. I know that this may be inconvenient, every once in a while, but in the end, we can provide each of you better service. I hope this explains it.

I would greatly apprecaite a response, as you have openly critizized Mp3Car for something that seems not to be true. There must be some confusion and I would like to clear it up.
Were you able to order an IDT from Xenarc? Also, with whom did you speak, Xenarc would like to know as well?
I have again received confirmation from Xenarc, after sending your post, that they do not have any units (aside some refurbs).
