If you have a receipt (or confirmation email) that you paid for a software product and never received it I can't imagine them not helping you at least get the license key you were supposed to receive or access to re-download the software.

The returns thing is pretty standard everywhere though-no returns on downloaded software and no returns of software CDs if the packaging has been opened. Theres just no way to know whether or not you are still using the software.

My bad man, I wasn't trying to be a douche, I just think how its messed up how overpriced mp3car is on their products, and how the customer service is non existant, that is why I don't do business with them

I took u the wrong way, no apology needed. Here we are 12 noon. No email response and no answers here yet.

I'm pretty certain if you would have purchased within their normal business hours, you would have had your download fairly quickly... but you ordered after hours on a Friday from a small "mom and pop" style company... what did you expect?

I would have expected to wait Til monday afternoon. Now, if it was a large corp like Microsoft, Amazon, Newegg, Symantec, etc... I would have expected an immediate response because the have the money and man power to make that happen.

No I don't work for mp3car, but I do run my own small business here. Perhaps that's why I can understand better than others.

You're the type of person I wouldn't want to do business with as well. People with this "walmart" mentality need to do just that... go to walmart. Go bargain shopping, go find it cheaper somewhere else. I hate doing work for those kind of people because they're always looking for a way to screw me out of my money when I know I'm better than everyone else providing this service.

The customer service is non-existent? That's odd, seeings as how Heather seems to be all over this board helping people with issues, returns, order info, etc. Perhaps you should open your eyes and let that 4-year-old chip on your shoulder down for a minute.

Regardless of"business size" they sell software for online purchase. This should be an automated system and if its not.then it.needs to say" You will have to wait for normal business hours to get your key/download. I also don't buy into the excuse of poor customer support based on small mom and pop size. In my experience the mom and pop stores are the best in customer service compared to large automated style companies. Id rather go talk to Tim at Tim's hardware.than talk town idiot at big retail hardware store. More over I can pick up the phone and call Tim. I feel the opposite. This is the way I'd expected to be treated by a big time company.

Well, I've purchased quite a few "instant downloads" that weren't instant, I guess I've just come to expect that. Perfect Keylogger, CDMA Workshop, PlayOn Media Server... each took about a business day to process and give me access to my "instant" download. I don't recall seeing disclaimers on any of their sites about how long I'd have to wait.

It appears you're confusing order processing with customer services. I don't put the two in the same category, otherwise I'd feel exactly like you do right now. Their customer service is great. Their order processing is just that of any other small business it seems, regular business hours.

EDIT: However, if you don't see your purchase by the end of today, I'd be right along side you complaining.

Comparing me to a Walmart shopper is really weak IMO.Sure heather appears very helpful, but well after the fact and it becomes damage control rather customer service. There have been some out right awful customer service dealings right on this.forum. the Guy offering to pay for a blown resistor and.mp3 car staff twisting his words and saying he" destroyed" the unit. I'm trying to resolve my problem and don't mind adding my 2 cents about the service or lack there of.
