$399 Intel Car computer?

i am looking at that ki690-am2 too, but having hard time to find them, i did find some AU place that is selling them, but its over 300+ and i do not know if they ship to US even...

what about getting from jap directly? any good sites that are in english?

Luckily for us, there will be a motherboard hitting the shelves shortly from Albatross, the KI690-AM2 and the KI690-S1. These motherboards are fully integrated mini-atx motherboard designed for AMD motherboards, which will have ATi's graphics onboard, and decent graphics at that too with a x1250 graphics core embedded, which should be powerfull enough to run Farcry and the like!
The KI690-AM2 uses a AMD desktop processor while the KI690-S1 will use a AMD Laptop processor.

That board seems to consume a good deal of power. 32 watts at idle...means a louder fan, more heat, and more power...

is that something that makes sense to you all?
