    Cool Who is - Where is - The Moderator 4 this forum

    Username "Altimat" is listed as the moderator for this "Fabrication" forum.

    When I click on his link in the Moderator's list in Forum Rules, it returns "Page Not Found".

    I have a moderator question.

    Moved to suggestions/comments.

    The forum in question is the Fabrication forum. What is your question?

    [EDIT]
    I don't know why you're having problems accessing Altimat's user profile page. It's working just fine for me.
    granted, he hasn't been ont eh forums since May....
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

    Thanks for the quick reply DarquePervert.

    Not sure about the page not found thing unless it has something to do with me using FireFox instead or IE. Mute point though I guess, if he hasn't been around since May.

    I read the advertising rules in Forum Rules:

    ===============================
    As Mp3car.com is a commercial enterprise, [HL]commercial advertisers are allowed only with the approval of the mp3car.com forum administrators. [/HL]If you would like to request permission to advertise on these forums, please email one of the administrators. We have implemented Google Ads for unregistered members for this purpose. Links to other sites that sell comparable products to the mp3car.com store are acceptable to point out product specs or comparison pricing as an aid to other members. Acting as an agent for another website selling similar products and advertising the website or products on the forums is not permitted.

    Spam is defined as unwanted, unsolicited commercial emails. While great lengths have been taken by the administration to prevent spam from appearing on the forums, it still happens. Members can help deal with spam by reporting the spam post. This will alert administrators & moderators so that they can take action.
    =================================

    So the question is because I am following the rules and asking.

    My question was for a guy I web master for that is selling a set of very comprehensive how to manuals he has written for building fiberglass molds. It would be good for those first timers doing smaller projects like Consoles, etc.
    If you want the site address, I'll PM it to you. If you want to see the manuals, I'll send you a set if you have the authority to approve my request.

    I didn't find anything in the mp3car.com store like it. So it doesn't appear it would be competing.

    I'm sure he would become a regular contributor here.

    So is it ok to put a link in his sig file or not? OR . . . . can he put an ad in the classifieds?

    Thanks

    Mike

    You can post them in the classifieds no problem.

    Please send the manuals to me: 'jbennett at streetdeck dot com' and I'll see about taking it further and carrying them on the store.
