How long are you accepting submissions? My girlfriend is interested in this. The only thing she would want is a link going back to her site at www.jelements.com if her submission was chosen.

    Thanks,
    James

    GUI Available

My bf, username jrbless, told me about the call for a redesign. I have a GUI up and running and I am working on the database. My demos are being worked on in my spare time, which is about a few hours each night. It can be viewed at:

    http://www.jelements.com/demos/mp3car/default.asp

Feel free to make suggestions or ask questions. I can be reached by email at [email protected].

Anyway, what do you guys think? I'm all ears.

    Nice use of guistuff.com

I think that design above is a direct plagarism of one of their interfaces... what does everyone else think?

Iīve seen that particular interface at least 2 years ago ! (might be even longer !!!)

not to put you down, the effort is good but, we need something totally new, (not that I can do it any better, but making a webpage off ripped-together-elements-from-other-sites shows a lack of imagination)

    Imagine what it could do..
If itīs attractive enough, sites/mags covering car-audio might want to do an article about it..... there are tons of opportunities there...

    just some constructive criticism...

    Talking Gotcha

No offense taken at all--it's why I asked for feedback! I just saw it and thought it looked cool, but I understand where you're coming from. I do have a few other ideas I'm working on, and I plan on making those available soon as well.

Just a side note: Don't worry about the php/asp all we're looking for is the design, I'm working on a new examples engine

    Thumbs up Layout

    Whew!

No problem. I usually focus mostly on the backend first. My bad.
