ok, instead of making a new thread-- i use a old laptop for surfing, and everytime i load the mp3car forums, it takes about 2 min to load things from f***thecrisis.biz(with letters, not *). granted, it could be a issue with my laptop, as i don't have the issue at other computers, but just in case it is related...

Just in case you weren't aware, spam is being sent out as admin messages. Either through compromised credentials or a security hole to get around having a proper login, someone is able to send spam out as the admin.

I didn't report the server itself as a spam source since you guys are working on it, but I'm sure it'll eventually end up on blacklists if people keep getting emails with spam URLs. You're not on the SpamCop or Spamhaus lists yet.

The footer says you're running 3.8.4. Wikipedia says that the latest version is 3.8.4 PL1 which was released last month to fix a security flaw. I'm not sure if you've got PL1 or not, but at least you're not way outdated.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I made a new thread on this "spam topic" and made a reply to some other user comments and made a status update on what we are doing to fix it. Thanks again for your support.
