I myself thought about that a while ago. I think bgoodman decided not to have one as he feared it would turn this place into a car audio forum, rather than a mobile computing forum.

I think that it's better to focus on this niche. There are plenty of other sites out there that focus on car audio. Granted a lot of topics overlap, such as the topic of now to get audio from a computer into a input method of a head unit but I would rather avoid the details solely related to car stereo.
