Ok so here is the attachment situation
Some systems couldn't cope when this number exceeded 32,768 so we altered this method for 3.0.0 RC1.

I feel for you there, I have had many problems over time, with many scripts and plugins with the "Great barrier wall" of 32,768!

Searching seems to be buggered up, [.....] I used the search function, nothing... tried a different phrase or two, same result tried searching for simple stuff like "wiki" "radio" etc, nothing. Went through advanced search, used kx project, yipee one hit returned, clicked on the hit, nothing.

I have had the same result, seems that the posts have not been re-indexed for searching.

I would say that sounds like an educated guess, and a good one at that!

Not sure how important to other users, but I have also noticed that the bottom of the page(s) no longer show the other users currently viewing the thread... I'm not saying that it is, just that was one thing that old layout had, and now is MIA.

It's probably been removed due to the high number of queries it takes to show that stuff.

I've got debug information at the bottom of each page as well.

It may have to do with moderator status, as the message at the very bottom talks about fetch_permissions.

Try it now - had to make a core change because of a facebook connect issue. it was only showing the old password box if your login_type was set to vb. however it wasn't taking null into account. _ _

I'm having problems changing my password...

To change my password I go to CP and then to "Edit Email & Password". It then asks me to provide the new password and then confirm this new password a second time. After doing that I press "save changes" and I get this message:
So where do I type in my current password? I only see the two fields for inputing the new password...

nope just a setting i missed. its there now.

yeah the debug info is gone.

A suggestion on facebook connection.... get rid of it. If you have time for facebook, you should be out in your car enjoying your carpc. If it is not installed, you have no excuse!
