must admit i dislike them too. It'd almost be ok if there were anywhere near relevant to the subject matter

at least your version lines them up horizontally..
my version lines them vertically..
i have to scroll just to read the first post....
the last thread i looked at had 5 products taking up the whole first visible page, none even remotely related to the thread, so they went ignored--this encourages me to constantly ignore them so if mp3car adds a product that actually applies, how am i going to know....

Sorry guys, I'm working on relevance. I'm having a ball with our store not giving me access to popularity of products. They should never show up vertically though. If that happens again, can you let me know your browser and OS so I can fix it.
I can also make these all smaller.
The whole point of these, once I can get them more relevant, is to bring products that are talked about to the foreground instead of going to dig for them. But I can def. make them smaller, less obtrusive, and hopefully more relevant. The algorithm is complex already, but I really really want to pull # of views and product popularity from the store so I can not show some product from 4 years ago.
I think they are more relevant now. Does anyone want me to shrink the size? I didn't think they were that in the way, but maybe I'm bias cuz i have a 24" monitor.
i usually use a 19-22" screen, and the size looks ok..
