advertizing clicks

hey, do we (as a site) get any money for advertizing click-throughs?

perhaps we should be clicking to an ad site every once in a while to generate traffic?!? i'd hate to see this place go down because of lack of funds.

we have 2 types of ads here:

flat-rate for 1 month unlimited clicks/views
commission based (we get a certian % of the profit if someone actually buys something from the advertiser)

but regardless: more clicks looks better to the advertisers

thanks for clearing that up. ive been bouncing into a couple of the ad sites, just to look around. not really buying anything anymore, but im sure there are a lot of people out there still in need of everything.

bgoodman - Have you looked into Google ad's? My little site makes about $40 a month using it, and my friends sites are pulling in well over $100 a month. https://google.com/adsense/
