Delete a Thread?

is there anyway I can delete a thread I've started?

only posts, not entire threads, I think.

You know, I was going to ask about that myself, as I think a thread got deleted just today!

I was following the one about some dude selling a hard drive full of mp3s on EBay, and now when I try to get back to the thread through the responses emailed to me, I get an error, and I can't find the thread anywhere.

Anybody know what happened to it?

Threads like that get deleted pretty quickly usually - trying to keep the RIAA away.

if you started the thread, you can delete it.

click on the Edit button on the first post, and delete it.

this will delete the entire thread.

this used to work, but I havent done it in a while

No, I tried to delete this one and one other....I don't see the delete key. I wonder if like Jol said and it's messages you can delete not threads? Anyway, it doesn't really matter, I was just trying to clean up a mess I made on this forum.

That hard drive for sale on eBay is pretty much madness.....I have a hard time believing that someone who can type can be that stupid. But it's a wide world out there, I guess it's possible.

Has anyone seen the other weird auctions out there? Like the guy with the brain scan hat for cats and birds? Or the guy with all the snow in his backyard for local pickup only? I liked that one alot, but it doesn't snow here much!

Why not?
I just made a mistake for the first time and double-posted a thread I started. It'd be nice if I could erase the mess.

Maybe there could be a limit to deleting threads (like if it has less than a certain number of responses: i.e. up to 5, or less...; or a certain amount of views)

Please enable this feature as most of the members here use common sense when posting information and whatnot.
