Today's Posts while logged in?

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but how come the today's posts link disappears after you log in? I think that function is a good way to monitor all of the forums. Am I missing something? Yes, I did a

Thanks Defiler. I think I was having a problem because sometimes when I click on New Posts, it only gives me the last four or five posts.
