look at it this way. this forum has nearly 9000 members already. on a typical hour there is about 150users online.

That by itself requires a dedicated server to handle/run without any hitches. Adding a car audio forum would
    1) steer away this forum in a direction its not meant to be
    2) use up valuable resources of the server (load & bandwidth)

    3) There are tons of other audio forums out there that already have great member databases and will be eager to help you with your questions.

Now personally, i would like to have an audio forum here also. But I understand why they wont do it, it makes sense.

    * To all arguments saying that it's ridiculous that "mp3"car.com doesnt have an audio forum *

MP3 does not imply hardware. (which is the forum you are requesting). This is a 'car computer' forum, not a mp3 deck forum.

Maybe the name is misleading, but you cant be too picky about that. (I'm sure any admins would take carputer.com if you bought & offered it to them.)

Just an FYI, mp3car does not require a dedicated server and it pushes less than 70gig/month so it's not like this is some HUGE site like genmay or [h]forums. ...

I agree we realy need it other forums don't have people that understand the problems that come from mixing car audio and PC's together I have been a stereo installer for 10 years so I can contribute a lot to it
