Are we restricted from referring to other sites?

Didnt know if that was against the rules. Just noticed the thread that someone created regarding cheap Lilliputs had disappeared. I dont want to step on any toes but it would be nice to know if that is against the rules. If it is, maybe you could state that in the FAQ.

    I'm curious about that myself.

I'm the one that posted some info on where to find a Lilliput.

Is referring to other vendors in postings prohibited? If so, which ones? And could you post that info in the FAQ? I don't want to be a rule-breaker... just thought I was helping other fellow forum members out.

well , if one person can find it ... it doesnt do any good for em to delete it ... as everyone else can find it ,,, google is no secret...

as always . you can just go on ebay ... that should give you a referance on how much lower it could possibly get (for anything really)

you can find cheap *** screens there , like rca/svideo 7" screens (for like modding it in the headrests) for like $80 ... (the build quality isnt gonna be 5 star for sure ,,, but .. for a "bling-bling" kinda showoff ... it should play movies and stuff fine)

Whenever we see a new, low post member posting links to a vendors site, it makes us supicious that the person posting could be a vendor trying to slip one in under our nose. But, Send Zip-Lock a PM. He makes the rules, The other moderators and I enforce them.

That makes sense. There' no point in a couple of people screwing things up for all of us. Of course, everyone's out to make or save the all-powerful dollar, but there are things like loyalty and support.

It's nice that you guys don't censor things like some of the forum-nazi's I've seen.

I mean, you guys don't even mind if I say ****** or ****, or even ********!!! Wow, that's great! So go ********* yourselves.

Anyway, let's keep this one of the best forums on the 'net,

    Kris

I understand that and it makes sense. However, I just didn't see anything in the rules about it specifically. So is the rule basically: no linking or mentioning of outside vendors unless you have so many posts?

I'm not associated with any vendor... I just happened to stumble across one that seemed to offer a good price. I guess I'll bide my time, make some more posts before recommending anything.
