    I did soem searching and came up with an answer

    The RSS feed is only related to NEW THREADS, not new posts to threads.

    think i can have a look at some of that rss code? its in php, so i might be able to hack at it some

    Oh that is wonderful! It works perfect in Firefox, and updates within the second. Stupid bbRSS doesn't get past the first thread listed though =\. I dont think it parses the feed correctly. It works with the other one fine though =\. Oh well, if you get bored and want to send me external.php and rss.php I may compare them and see why one works and the other doesn't. I'm sure the "syntax" of the feed is different on the new one making bbRSS choke >.<

    rss.php is my version that creates the rss. I'll have to play with bbrss to figure out what elements I need to have in the feed.

    Just tried this with firefox and it works much better now. The feed matches the top post very nicely. Good work.
