errors on the homepage

Well someone asked for server specs:

Dell SC1425
Dual Xeon 2.8ghz 1meg cache
2048 ram (4 x 512)
2 x 120gig s-ata

from a server standpoint it's been quiet as has the network... haven't been having any issues with the other servers within the same rack nor neighboring servers.

the database was somewhat funky, there were a number of slow running queries, looks like it had been awhile since someone did a repair/optimize on the mp3car database *pokes admins*

Are the other Sites on the server, server intensive?

Its hard to beleve that a server with those specs is having problems. Unless its not configured properly.

Maybe its time to move to a clusterd setup or tweak the server a bit.

So then whats seems to be the problem. This is begining to get very annoying.

I visit this site the most and sometime I have to click a link 3 or 4 times for the thread to open.

mp3car averages 30-40% resource consumption, other sites use less than 5% on the whole mp3car pretty much has their own server.

the server is configured just fine, we've got p4 2.8ghz boxes with 1 gig ram pushing higher traffic sites.

The problem (today atleast) was a database that wasn't clean. As far as the people with the network issues... I'm not sure what to say we haven't had any events in the datacenter within the last few weeks.

I check this site all day long and I've yet to encounter that.

No problem, I will im you next time I have the problems. Sorry about the last post, but it has been happening the last few days and trying to keep up with threads gets kind of hard and I hate waiting.
