TBH, I've always preferred this logo, and still prefer it over anything else that has been posted or used so far:

I have to ask what is wrong with the current logo. I think its fine now. It clean and clear and fits in with the colour scheme of the site ( which I notice non that have been posted here so far do - OOoo just a bit of editorial there( Ben Elton for those out side the UK ).
What you could look at is a logo to go with this... what I mean is..
There is a certain customer I work with how has a corpate logo like that at the top of the screen now but they are have a picture of a number of circuls - this too is also used both by its self on just about every thing or combined. ( Example attached ).
There is a meaning to the image which I cant remember but the point is that this type of dual branding is the new thing as understand... may be work thinking about.

maybe there is a differance in the US to the UK in what a logo should be? are we trying to make a new 'clan mark' or a logo (which is clean, simple to the point, brings the site upto date, is faxable, easy to work with, looks good on a letter head, and not defined in space with a box shape [nasty gradients])
how long will i be able to post my pic here? when will the contest close?

The few I submitted are simple vector art that are easily turned in to stickers.
(No small edges or wording, or backgrounds that would have to be elimitated to be cut out)
I guess I was sorta going about it backwards... making a sticker design that
can be made into a graphically intensive logo second.
I don't know which is the better way to approach the design![]()
