Guys, I was wondering wouldn't a logo not have '.com' included in with it. If you look at the logos of most major companies, even those that started out on the web, the don't use the .com. I don't know, I think it might just flow better. Let me know if anyone feels the same way.

I agree. Don't worry about the .comOriginally Posted by Quattro-A4

Frankly, I'm for not only dropping the .COM but maybe renaming the whole site, I know that it would probably be a huge undertaking, but MP3's are only a very small part of this site anymore.
Maybe that would be the second contest, "Rename The Site".
Shouldn't this come before the "Make the Logo" contest?Originally Posted by TimmyM

I think as this site is not a multinational company the '.com' is an important part of the logo, as if its a sticker in your car... you want people to come to the site and join in. As for the name, I would have to agree when the site was started it was about getting MP3 in the car, before head units could do it. Now its about having multimedia car experiance. However people are right, if you are going to change the name, it should be done before the logo, What i think needs to be changed is the slogan, which i have been doing on my logo designs, music is not key, having a bigger and better audio and visual system than you mate is the key! ;-)
