I tried to put one together, but I have no photo skills.
I was trying to go for some analog to digital theme, while maintaining the look of the current logo. It would definetely need to be cleaned up.

I have some ideas that i could sketch out, but i think i really suck at photoshop. Would somebody be able to help me out?
BoyNextDoor, I would be happy to help you out, But i recommend so you keep all the lovely $$$$ to your self that you use a vector art program. I also suck at photoshop (and i personally hate it), I use Xara X (which you can get a 30 day trial of) and paintshoppro 8. Hope this helps.
Why do you hate Photoshop??? I use it very much and think its great to work![]()
Photoshop is bitmap based, rather than vector based.Originally Posted by X4LoV
That means that it's very difficult to easily scale things up to posters, or even to a vinyl cutting machine, because it works in dots rather than lines and equations (which will give you the same high-quality result whether it's 2cm square or 2m square!)
Therefore for logos etc, vector based is MUCH better than bitmap based

Vector Based work is the better choice for logos and the design world in general, Ok I know photo creats things called vectors, but they are normall overlayed on to pixel images witht the goodo antianilising and layer techniqies.
I personall don't like it, becuase it was made for a mac, and the windows version is just a port of the software, so you don't get common windows type controls and user interface (takes me hours to remember how to set colours in there, then you find out its a blend effect of something else to do with the layer gallary)
I also respect all those true photo designers, as there work is amazing for the software, and as we know adobe is industry standard they have to work with it.
Also would like to add how many people can really afford to work with that program legally at home!!!!!!!!
For general design you have also the Macromedia Freehand. Its pretty simple and very useful.
again quiet expsensive! for a home user!
