Is there a way to see if new posts have been added to threads I am active in? I currently goto Search/Advanced/User:TheLlama. I just wanted to see if there is a straightforward way (some BB systems have this feature)

Go to your contol panel and under option there is a section for subscription, just enable that, so everytime you go to control panel you will see the thread you have posted in. or you can click subscribe to this thread by using thread tools in each thread.Originally Posted by TheLlama

I was thinking this when I read your first post. About 2 weeks ago, I was thinking about putting BeOS on my carputer (once up and running), but from what I saw, there is a huge transition going on with those projects so I think I may just load it on my new development system once I get that.Originally Posted by 0l33l
I'm thinking I am gonna have a MacMini G4, PowerBook G4/G5 (depending on when I get it), athlon 64....
i think i can pass on an wintel 64 unless I see a true benefit. I doubt it will be priced/marketed for the desktop right away.....or in the pricerange that my girlfriend will let me spend....dont need her *****ing that i dont spend as much on her as i do on my hobbies![]()
all of those would be filled with a slew of operating systems that i wouldnt mind running on my carputer. my ties are to linux, and no doubt that will be on them all, but i do like os x, beos, and a few other non-popular systems. I just wish I could live off being a professional beta tester, but i only know a parttime tester for a small game developer (won't say their name, but their voltage is very very high). I'd be a perfect candicate of cross platform power using!

Don 944 - If you use the Firefox web browser you can just middle-click your mouse wheel/button and pop them up in a new tab.
You can check out Firefox here: http://www.getfirefox.com/
I hope you're not still using IE - it's very insecure and hard to use.

I think he's right.
In fact, I think there should be a new forum dedicated to complaining about having too many forums.
Hey, just be glad that there isn't a "post new forum" button on every screen right next to the "post new thread" button![]()
