Ignore thread option?

With my carpc project nearing its completion (and my level of experience rising accordingly, *ahem* ), I find myself losing interest in a growing number of topics on here. Maybe I have overlooked, but is there something like an "ignore thread" option, to keep postings in certain forums from showing up in the new threads list?

An ignore option for the off-topic forum would be very helpful, for starters.

No. And just for that, the mods are going to email subscribe you to every thread, and make sure it sends you 2 emails for every "my thread" post.

Its very easy!
Just say something very conservative on the off-topic forums that you can back up with clear logic and reasoning and wait for a mod to ban you from the OT section. That way you won't have to worry about seeing the OT section anymore, and you'll notice that you get more free time.

How I got banned from the OT: I said that the people of New Orleans brought their problems upon themselves and that they should get no federal assistance because it is a STATE problem, not a national problem. This ticked off the mod who's from Louisiana
