Premium Member option

I've been thinking about this for a while.

I know a great way for MP3Car to make more money, for better servers, etc...

Would there be a way to have a paid subscription to the forums?

For example:

Regular free users get all that they have right now, but for $1/month or something like that, you get more PM space, bigger file uploads, etc....

Has this already been discussed?

Just a thought....

A lot of places have a thing like that that will show if you've donated to be a "premium member" or whatever under your username - but you can turn that off via profile settings so people who haven't paid don't feel pressured (as you can't tell if someone has donated and turned it off or not donated) and so people can turn it off to not show off or whatever, or leave it on to show their support. Just throwin another idea out there.

Yeah, whatever.

I wouldn't mind putting $1-$2/month towards being a "premium MP3car member" just add some perks.

But, still let people have register for free also.

haha they should implementthis so that if newbies wanna post new threads they should pay 1 dollar each time. i bet alot of new threads asking the same **** will stop!

Also, maybe premium members could have a 25-30sec delay between posts, instead of 45sec

I think there should also be a new user lock on certain areas depending on their post count, its worked well on other boards I've been a member of.

Say minimum of 50 posts for some areas.
