I like the idea. I have had a question or two that I wanted to ask but didn't. Asking here instead of in another forum is kind of like asking your friends for help.

i agree. I've been working on computers for 17 years but theres always some little mundane issue or problem i try to work thru.. sometimes leading to a bigger prob lol. Somewhere i can just throw a quick question out would be great.

I actually like the idea of a "helpdesk" thread. I'm in the same boat as Sonicxtacy02, where I could probably help out a bit as well as ask a question without fear of being flamed. I think that posts should count though, cuz IMHO it *is* meaningful information.
