    Section strictly for computer help/support

    What do you guys think?

That way we don't fill up OT as much..

We can make it like OT where posts don't count...

    Peace,

    Rafster

    It was just a suggestion....

I do see quite a couple (Even I've posted one or two) every once in a while. That way, OT doesn't get crowded with stupid ****...

    Peace,

    Rafster

I like the idea. I have had a question or two that I wanted to ask but didn't. Asking here instead of in another forum is kind of like asking your friends for help.

    Exctly....

Why should someone who has been here a while (2-3 years) have to go to another forum, ask his question, be flamed and called a newb, when the nice peeps here could probably help out w/o all the headache...

    Peace,

    Rafster

i agree. I've been working on computers for 17 years but theres always some little mundane issue or problem i try to work thru.. sometimes leading to a bigger prob lol. Somewhere i can just throw a quick question out would be great.

I actually like the idea of a "helpdesk" thread. I'm in the same boat as Sonicxtacy02, where I could probably help out a bit as well as ask a question without fear of being flamed. I think that posts should count though, cuz IMHO it *is* meaningful information.

Just my $.02, which in today's economy is worth about -$5...
