    User Cleanup?

So I was taking full advantage of all the VB goodness, looking at the members list and sweet jesus! i didnt realize that we have 2000+ members. I also noticed that a lot of the acounts have 0 posts, so I was wondering if it would be a good time to crop out all the never used accounts dating back to the origins of the board?

It would be nice if it had a setting to delete members after they havn't posted in say 18 months or so. That way only the active members will be listed.

im a big fan of internet forums. without them my mp3car would be a hunk of crap. i have participated in many forums and when i have completed the project i usually move on. then about a year later i'll check the scene out again and post more... i dont think they should be deleted. its just an entry in a database. its not slowing anything down.

    true,

but i think 0 post accounts should be killed....... why else would you really become a member but to post...? would it be possible to send an email to all users with accounts not touched in 18months and get them to at least log in once to refresh their access...? alot like hotmail accounts.? I guess their submitted email may have changed..... but it might be an okay idea.....?

Searchin the users which have not logged-in in 365 days yields...

Found 2085 users matching your search conditions

I guess we to give people a little bit to log into the Vbulletin System...

    Users who have not posted:

Found 552 users matching your search conditions

Again, I think that anyone that has 0 posts and has been registered since UBB doesn't really need an account, do they? they're just taking up resources in sql.
