Excellent idea! Put me down for yes.
On other forums the use of heatware to help determine a traders habits is rather common place. Here, not so much. I've noticed other users commenting on it lately. So I took the liberty to contact Heatware.com and ask them to add Mp3car to the official list of forums. I felt this would encourage users here to start using it, as it seems to be the best option we have available to us for a feedback system. They have responded to me and are happy to add Mp3car to the list, but only with the blessing of Mp3 itself.
So here's the poll, should the moderators here, or more specifically Ziplock himself perhaps, contact the owners of heatware and agree to use it as an accepted form of feedback for this forum?

Is heatware something you can actually "use" here at mp3car? Or what do you mean by that? Is this something that can be integrated into vBulletin? I had never even heard of it until you guys started talking about it as of late.

Opus 150W/DVD/GPS/7" Lilliput TS/802.11g/Bluetooth
Installed.
-GPSSecure- - GPS Tracking
-AltTabber2.2.2- - Handy touchscreen utility.
Bad idea, gives buyers a false sense of security.
me, I wouldn't trust anyone on this board. (even myself)
actually especially myself.
Hmm. Following the rash of recent threads about trading which have been moved to OT/deleted it's obvious that something isn't right.
What’s happening with the mp3car ratings scheme? So far we have a small green square and a set of scales, but no way of using them.
Indeed the whole ratings scheme seems to have caused more confusion than help, the green square being described as "fugly" (draw your own conclusions) and the set of silver scales as "mushrooms". Is every member "is on a distinguished road"? I doubt it after reading the aforementioned threads.
Perhaps the person responsible for this scheme has their hands full with the “StreetDeck” rollout. If so, heaven help us all.
gnomad is the one that works on the site. I don't see how he relates to StreetDeck in any way. I'm sick of hearing how StreetDeck is the cause of everyones problems (we'll leave this discussion for another thread). gnomad said that if anyone wanted to code a feedback system then he would put it in place. The feedback thing that Ziplock enabled is just a setting in vBulletin. It was just something that he was trying out. It wasn't anyones full attempt at putting a feedback system in place.Originally Posted by roadhog

I'd put it this way. Something is still better than nothing. so I for heatware. we come to a point in views and members on this page, that we have to sophisticate our trading habits/systems. It's way overdue. I don't blame the site owners though, b/c they prolly have their hands full... anyways. we need something. if not heatware, than something else. and we need it fast
cheers

Thanks for clearing up who is working on which areas of the site.Originally Posted by xBrady
The ratings system built into vbulletin doesn't seem to be functional at the moment, so it would seem we need to use something else. Perhaps it would be best to disable it to avoid confusion?
And finally, please excuse my coincidental observation at the end of my last post. It was off topic in this thread.
