Is there any way to search to see if there are members in my local area?

Well a start would be for you to have your location in your profile, and if everyone else did the same you would have a rough idea of what town and state people are in.

However I don't think there is a search facilty based on location in vbulletin.

Signed up for frappr. Looks like it will take a lot more signups before it has any real value.
Have looked at the meets section before, but found that it covers too big a geography.
Too bad if there is no other way to identify people who are local

Apparently, there were too many Mexicans

. So they made NEW Mexico, from land taken from OLD Mexico, and filled it with American settlers and then thought it worthy enough to be part of the US as a full fledged state. Now they're thinking about enacting stricter laws to make sure the OLD Mexico keeps its Mexicans and the NEW Mexico is filled with Americans. Go figure
