Overall look is ok. but I have to agree with Rafster, I'm not feeling the color scheme. Also the current look is more "Commercial".
If it was the first time you were visiting the page it looks like your trying to sell them something. It doesn't have the feel of a forum anymore.

Also the forum skin needs to be changed to match everything. I think there should be a couple of version of the skin, and one for in car use.

also what tj said, what about new smilies??
we've voted and there is a need.

So, I see that 4 people have voted on the homepage... where do I cast my vote?

I don't like the way the last 10 posts area functions. I liked it better the old way.

Currently it displays the exactly "last 10 posts", so if a thread has 5 post in the last minute it'll show that thread 5 times in the list. see pic, "Tidder's 04 Ponticrap Sunfire"

Since you asked for comments... I have a few:
    1. To maintain a professional look, I would re-create the main page similiar to what it used to be, but with a greater emphasis on the store.
On the page, I would definitly showcase a recent/popular product or two(possibly by showing a pic, and a very short description, with a link to the actual product and your review/description)
I would have a link to a "Recent News" section, to let people know what is going on with the business. (ex, releasing a new store, changes to the homepage, car shows, product expos, etc...) Having "recent news" on the main page doesn't give off that polished/professional feel to the site.

On this note, having the "recent posts" section on the left, makes the page feel cluttered. Moving this section back to the bottom of the page removes clutter, and puts the emphasis on the store, and not on the forums. (which is where you want the emphasis to be, right?)

On the color: I think the colors will look fine once the site is polished up a bit. I am partial to grey's, black, and the like, but it really isn't about the colors themselves... it's about how they work together to present your products...

I hope you take this 0.02 for what it's worth... just one guys opinion!

As a side note, I am very happy to see that you guys (owners/operators of mp3car) are making a real effort to bring our hobby into the spotlight, and making a good name for yourselves as business men. As can be guessed, I talk about my project to everyone who will listen, and have referred the inquisitive ones to this site as a place to buy the stuff, and to learn how to set it up... In short, keep up the good work!

personally I think the theme has gone from a strong to a weak theme. Too much white now.

Also before because you pictures of installs (it would have been nice if these had changed once in a while) you got the feeling of what the place was about, now it just seems like a load of text.

Top bar does match the store, either go with white background for both or yellow background for both.

Also the forum doesn't match now.

No obvious way to get to the home page from the store.

    Just my tuppence worth.

Oh, and I'd prefer that when you click on one of the new posts that it open in the same window rather than a new window.
