New posts without refreshing - AJAX real-time feed of new posts/threads

I've got it!

Why don't you make it a drop down menu on the New Posts button and then have the user choose between Static and AJAX?

there was a link for this at the top bar for like a day or so, not there now... don't see it in quicklinks either.... where would anyone get to this from normally?

the link that was at the top replaced another link that was mentioned in this thread as being prefered.

I've been working on another few mods, sorry I haven't gotten to this one.

It's been added to the list. I'm trying to figure out how to make it a drop down though...still working on that.

I was actually hoping you could arrange it like this:

New Posts [V]
New Posts: Static
New Posts: Live

That way it doesn't look too awkward and kind of matches the Quick Links and User CP buttons.

I know...I'm working on it...

I made the change where it added the link beside it, and it wasn't a drop down menu...then I found out how to make it a drop down (after I posted that I added the link...note how I said I'm still trying to figure out how to make it a drop down?)

I could just take the entire forum down just to do this....but I figured it didn't warrant it.

Too bad you can't really work behind the scenes on this mod.
