The start of the GW Parkway is Beltway (495) exit 43. It's on the west side, the first exit on the VA side of the VA-MD border. From Baltimore, take the DC Beltway West 16 miles.

The park is easy to find, it is clearly marked with signs, and the areas are numbered 1,2.... You can even put a sign in front saying MP3car meet or something.
I can bring sodas, cups and ice...

Wow, it looks like it's going to be a good turnout. Unfortunately, I'll be at a wedding in Williamsburg on Saturday so will have to miss it. It's for the better anyway because my Xenarc is acting up (flickering, turns on and off for no apparent reason). I'm hoping it's just a loose connection somewhere.

Ok. In theory I might actually show up this time, but don't hold your breath

I have a belly dance show to go to at 4 in Alexandria, so there really isn't much excuse for me not to hit the meet for a while, then zip down the parkway.

If I make it, i'll bring some soda to the mix.

You might laugh, but they do have one male student (who is dancing at one of the shows Saturday). He is pretty good too.

I think I will stick to watching my wife dance rather than partake of Steve's talents in that arena though
