Monthly Meets - DC / VA / MD / NJ / DE / PA

we've been there a few times and there was ample space for the meet.. the main problem as best i remember is the LONG drive up to the park and the traffic at midday. I think we sat on the private road goin into the park for 40 minutes just to park lol. It'd be nice to see some mp3car guys there though for sure.. I remember zip came in his jetta about a year ago.

Are you talking about great falls with the traffic or the turkey area mentioned in post 1?

great falls is the one with the waterfalls right ? lol that was the one we had so much trouble getting into. Our "regular" meet location is turkey run, and thats the one just off george washington memorial parkway. Thats typically a breeze to get into and we usually have the whole parking lot/cookout area to ourselves. Plus its free whereas u have to pay at great falls.

Hmm, I might be able to stop by for a bit as well. I don't know for sure yet. I can also vouch for the desirability of the Turkey Run location. As Sonic said, it's easy as pie to get to and we practically have the whole place to ourselves.

yea we can do that.. everyone needs to sign up to bring one thing to make it work though. I i'll bring a gas grill (if steve doesnt come), utensils, napkins and plates.

I just found out I'm going to have to be in Maryland celebrating my mother's birthday on Saturday. Unfortunately, that means I'm not going to be able to make the meet.
