Also, let's start planning our next AFK Fest. We will need a few months though. We can do the park and have a back up as the office. BUT, the park got word of our contest and said we cannot do one. We can have alcohol, but no free contest give aways. hmm.

How is August for the big AFK Fest again? I think that gives us enough time. Perhaps we can use the hall of our incubator and have a little trade show too?

Mike mentioned the Robot Fest before and i was thinking about driving up to meet with him so yea i will plan to go.

Its amazing how quick the time goes.. only 4 months til august! August works well for me.. i'll be there.

I'm not going anymore, I'm down in texas for the rest of the month.

But yeah, August AFK fest is coming! I can't believe the park won't let you do free giveaways. We could have the BBQ there, and the carshow at your office, but that's a bit of a hassle (and a drive)

We will have to give this some thought, it might be kind of cool to have a bit more of an indoor show, so many people brought hardware to show outside of the car...could make sense to definitely do an inside show?

Ok, i am starting a thread for this then.

I am in for August for AFKFest. I like the idea of towards the end of summer since I tend to get more work done on the car during the summer.

When in August do you have in mind? If the time is right, I'll utilize some vaction time to make it up there.

How is the weekend of August the 21st or the weekend of the August the 28th?

We can actually invite companies too to have a mini trade show here in our incubator, set everyone up with tables etc. And then we can do a meet up outside either at the office or at the park across town on the water.

So it may be 1.5 day affair, if we also want to do another speaker series.
