Thread: Southern NH/Northen MA, carputer meet! Rockingham Mall, Salem,NH, July 28

Sounds like a plan. See you guys there. Hope everyone can make it, even if it's just for a short time.

What are the plans for the meet? To introduce ourselves? Are people doing work on their cars there? If so, what will you be doing?

Finally...a carputer meet...cool...

Yes I am excited. To be honest with you all, I haven't done anything on my carputer since new year, despite grand plans to improve. That is due to various happenings in my life, but I am hoping to restart developing it again.

My personal goal from this meet is to look at others' setups and get some ideas for my own, so far I've seen only another person's carputer in person, never seen any other setups except on the pictures.

I will bring some tools in case someone needs to fix something.

Let's get a headcount perhaps? Whatever happened to google calendar that that guy was going to setup.

Oh and finally, one or two friends will come who want to build carputers themselves.

The chances of me going have just improved a lot... I got my truck today It needs a fare amount of work but I have it and hopefully ill have it on the road by the time of the meet.

This sounds great. I think you should make it clear which Rockingham Mall this is at. Some people might not know the difference (even though you put the address there). Just a suggestion.

I'll try to make it but If I an get out of work early, but no guarantees. My carputer hasn't even been in my car for the pass 3-4 months, or more, but I'll try to put it together b4 then.

I hate to be a pain but would any be interested in moving the time a little sooner? Maybe around 1-2? I have to head down from NH to Boston for a B-day party so 4pm might be a little late for me but I really want to make it to this meet. Even if it's for 30 minutes.
