    Hey all,

Sorry I have been a no-show this year. Got a new job that keep me traveling a lot from Spring through Fall on the weekends.

I no longer have the Avalon and have begun to move the CarPC to its 3rd vehicle - the F550. Here's a link to my progress.

Hope to see you guys at least once this summer - perhaps August.

forgot who exactly i was talking about this with, but someone had a 9 or 10" screen that they had problems with the higher resolutions and not working due to refresh/timing frequency, conversation went something like "i know of a program, cant think what the hell it is right now... too many drugs in the 60's blaghblaghblagh.... ill remember what it is in 2 weeks or something and then forget why the hell i remembered it in the first place"....

well... here i am, and yes i just remembered the name of the program to make custom resolutions/timings for just about any monitor....

    POWERSTRIP!!!
    http://www.download.com/PowerStrip/3...-10025384.html

and like i said... its on download.com ^_^

so whoever i just killed off 30 braincells trying to remember what it was i was trying to remember that i was trying to remember something for someone... there it is^^^ get it and lemme know how it works

    *(**edit**)*
ok so if that version of the 30day free trial gives you a craptacular time where certain applications arent to be found, i do beleive older versions had not such measures as to which there were reasons as to hunt for stuff to use other stuff....

a nice tutorial THING i found while being bored at 2 in the morning:

I hope to "see" you guys at the next meet Our Florida meet is on the same day, and BlueZX3 and I have been talking. (Uh Oh! I know )

We are going to be setting up a video conference between the 2 meets. Why? Just because we can! hahaah It will be kinda cool to see some of the different setups and such. He says a few people have 3G at the meets, and I am hoping someone at the meet this time will let us use the connection. John1701 here as a 3G air card we are gonna hook up to a laptop and use it as a wireless network hub.

I am trying to get a wireless camera set up so it can roam around the meet and such. I am bring an LCD monitor to the meet on this end, and I think Blue is doing the same.

If nothing else it should be interesting

Oooooooh, sounds like the first step toward a virtual world-wide MP3Car Meet.

Just imagine every major meet scheduled on the same day and multiple feeds ala the US New Years Eve TV broadcasts where a different city(timezone) chimes in every hour and they're the primary video, but everyone can talk to everyone else. And we could make ours a 24-hour broadcast where anyone could watch with just a web browser. The whole thing could be archive in 1 hour increments for later viewing. And on and on and on.......

Just thinking about this kills so many braincells, my head hurts.
