If you are talking about the meet, the meets are free. The only cost is we often go grab something eat as the day comes to a close. Most of the time an inexpensive wings place or sandwich shop.

dudes, you guys need to really check out why your rides suck on gas. I have a crown vic with a v8 and I get 30+.

we have been going to a wing place after the meets. The wing place this time actually has some very good wings.

im still a little skeptical about that John...what did you do to it that gave you 30+? cause that just doesnt seem right...lol

count me in...i just gotta finish up everything...the last thing to do now is install the alternator and the amp for the sub... and the H701...

just proper maintenance, K&N air filter, good plugs, clean the engine, proper tire pressure, no lead foot, no jack rabbit starts. Currently I get 25 city, 35 highway. How do I know? Simple. Since I owned the car, every fillup I calc how far I drove according to the tripmeter with how much gas I just pumped. I have been doing that with EVERY fill up since 2003 when I bought the car.

I do proper maintenece, regular filter though, good plugs, I thought I was the only one that sat there and did that, lol..... proper tore pressure, horribly heavy lead foot, mine are more like imapla starts, the cars are so far back it not even funny..... I get 12 city and 16 highway.... if I get the chip reprogram I can get about 16 to 20 city (with a lead foot) and dont know the highway, but I assume it would be better also.

My problem is the rotary engine in the RX8 is a POS and poor fuel economy is characteristic. Mazda initally over stated the mpg of the car and will be making corrections as to the actual mpg (too late if you own one).
