I am still around, but as you said have been preoccupied working on my Fiero.

I spoke to John1701 a couple weeks back, he said that he has decided to take a break from the CarPC stuff for a while.

I figured that. The Car PC stuff can be very taxing on peoples patience. I should know, mine has got so large and I have run into so many problems. I think the reason I have not given up completely is because the one time I did try to go back to a head unit, it was a nightmare for me. Hopefully he gets his groove back, if at all. I mean its been a good long time since anything from him. I think it all started when me and thatslife went to that scary park, with fear that swamp thing was going to pull us out the car and eat us. Anyways I was thinking of later in the future of having meets again and maybe even setting up a website for it, but I dont know if I want to do it on the scale like John1701 did, he covered literally almost all of FL.

Im still here. Ive been busy with my other hobby (girlfriend) and since Ive gotten the Iphone it quenched my thirst for the carpc for a while but now its coming back just need to find the time to buy and build this thing already haha....

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, your a traitor, you went to the iPhone!!!!!!!!!!! You might as well go to the iMaxiPad. Its like a big iPhone but with a touchscreen. Actually they may work.... not sure if your dash can fit it though, its has a 9 inch screen.

I think maybe thats why I prefer to be single, or should I say, have f*#k buddies. You only call them when you have the urge. All though I do understand. I have 4 dogs and they are like children and they eat up alot of my time. I still have a pretty good schedule though... Mon - Fri from 6 pm to 7 pm, is usually me tinkering with stuff in the house. Then I dedicate 100% of Saturday to the car. Sunday is 100% for my doggies.

LMAO the iphone made it easier for me since it is also my "air card". The apple Maxipad has none of my interest (I was hoping for announcement on an Iphone OS upgrade) and the biggest I can fit is a 7" on my dash

Ive actually gotten to the point where I am having other complete the work for me. I just dropped off the rear PC case to be finished. The guy didnt look happy at all. I built it in a very unconventional way to make it blend in with my car. Then he has to redo my rear door panel (my trunk compartment). I have alot of fiber glassing to do also, but Nexson seems too busy. Do you know any Miami based people that do fiberglassing? Its all small stuff, but stuff I know I cant do on my own.

I like to do things my self unless I im not comfortable with my skill level or just lazy then I send to Nexus but your right he's usually busy. But I don't know any people for this kind of stuff. I might take a shot at it next time I have a reason too if Nexus is not busy haha.
