The Florida Meets Thread

I figured out how to change the date on the map meet, and set it to the 26th.

I was gonna be able to make the original meet date, but on the 26th I have long set plans that can not be changed

So I will not be able to make this one.

No, it just comes at a really bad time. With the economy going to hell, Im working even weekends to catch up with bills. Plus the matter that my motherboard blew out, so the CarPC is dead until they send me the replacement (thank god for warranty).

since not enough people are attending the oct 2008 meet, it has been cancelled.

Next meet will be in the beginning of the new year.

Wow, what is it with the black cloud over Orlando?!!? Always seems MANY people ask over and over for and Orlando meet. One was scheduled, and no one signed up. It was postponed for a couple weeks, to try to get people to sign up, and still nothing, and had to be canceled.

I was going to be able to make the meet till it was rescheduled, but then that conflicted with previous obligations, or I would have been there for sure.

As many of you know, you wont see my red Eclipse at future meets, as I totaled it last weekend. Not sure what I will have by the time of the next meet, or if I will have a CarPC set up in it by then actually either. The computer and just about all hardware was destroyed when it went flying in the accident, and even the motorized touch screen mounted in the dash flew apart

OH WOW im sorry to hear that...... I guess maybe its good my pc is in the center of the car, it has a pretty good chance.... will the insurance cover the car and the pc?

My medical and the other vehicle and driver are covered, my car and CarPC are not. You can see some pictures and more details in a thread HERE.

its good to see you vertical johnwpb, if u need any help with wiring your new or newer car, let me know I can swing over and no problems helping you out.

I honestly do not know why with orlando.....everytime a meet is scheduled for orlando this always happen.....i'm kindof thinking there might be a black cloud over orlando....

plans are for a meet scheduled near the beginning of the new year. Should know about the location before xmas.
