I'll plan on attending. Probably bring along a friend or two. Guess I've got to get my crap together and actually install my screen, eh.
So +2, maybe 3.

You have to request to be a meet creator. I set it up here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/MapSearch.php Head over and set your status.
Anybody know anything about bluetooth? My EEEPC bluetooth touchscreen showed up and I want to see if I can use it with my iPhone.

Okay, I signed up for Qik as the live streaming provider. I did 4 test videos, 2 on the Edge network and 2 on the 3G on the Massachusetts turnpike this afternoon. They all look pretty much the same to me.
Can you all see these?
I think we'll be able to broadcast the meet - or part of it, live. If we've got a couple of installs, we can do a little show and tell for each of them.

Did it.. Done it... now I got to keep the neighbors kids away!!
bugbyte: they all come through great! looks exciting!
strikeback03: running gentoo here, so linux compatibility is at least in this distro.
sadly my blazer has had some transmission troubles, meaning it won't be back on the road by the meet [i seem to always have mechanical problems that keep me from bringing my install to meets, ie last summer at the NE meet]. But I'll bring my laptop and my pick up instead [no carputer] and all the mp3car support i can muster up!

Yeah, I'd say if you have some install issues either hardware or software, bring them to the meet! We can take a look at them.
My car will be a complete mess. Between running Mac OS X, Windows, and using the iPhone on it, it is basically always a rolling mobile laboratory with wires and crap hanging out all over.
And I have an ever so nice ground loop that I haven't had time to isolate since I switched over to the Intel Mac Mini. It could be caused by any of the 20,000 wires I've cut, soldered, re-cut and resoldered to hack stuff into place.
Not to mention that it has only recently been warm enough to get out and work on it and I haven't had time to do that. I figure I may take time at the meet to clean up some of the wires and such if I can't get around to it before then.
Also, if you are looking to sell any stuff you might have onhand, bring it along. You never know!
