****.. I just woke up with the worst hangover. drinking a beer trying to get rid of it. sorry i missed this month. I didnt plan on getting that intoxicated last night.

No worries, me and Giz held down the Chicago meet. Got him up to date on all the killer apps he needs for his TouchPro.

And unless anyone has any objections or suggestions, I figured we'd move back to our normal day next month and have it on the 26th of July.

This phone is so cool!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx Mp3Dub for all your help. I started downlading programs yesterday and will start installing tomorrow. Went out partying last nite and lost all track of time. I'm just getting home today at 8.

OBTW, got pulled over on south I-57 just inside Chicago today. Never saw him coming, never got a pep outta the V1. Guy was in a beater of an old 90s Pontiac Grand AM with illegally dark tint all around. I saw him pull in behind me at a quick clip (I was doing 75) and thought nothing of it. Then I see what I thought were odd triangular lights on his passenger sun visor - blue and red. I thought OK kids playing a bad joke. Then he turned on the siren and started flashing his headlights. OOOPS, better pull over.

Long story short, no radar, no laser, no ticket, he saw my Car Computer on my dash as I passed him and wanted to inspect my car for an illegally placed video player. I read the law and its exceptions to him off the computer screen and he said he was going to tell me the same thing (I guess I was being kind of a smart *** since I was sitting instead of getting closer to home). He and his partner (sneaking up on me on the passenger side of the car) watched me demo some of th capabilities of the CarPC and after 15 minutes, he let me go about my business. Needless to say, I waited till I had to floor it to get back into traffic and screeched the tires shifting into second. Then the V1 let me know I was being painted by Ka radar from the rear. I kept it under 75 and he exited 3 exits later.

I'll massage my calendar and see what shakes out. I think I'll go for the "MP3Car swap meet" theme at the St Louis meet in July.

I've been out of town the past two meets I'll have to see what happens in July. BTW, anyone here thinking of running an indash fold out screen? Wireless dreamer-is your liliput still broken or did you get that take care of?

I fixed the display a while ago. Ordered a metal gear from an rc parts shop. On the negative side its still on my bench with my carpc. I haven't had time to touch any of it lately.

After talking to Giz about how I don't bother to backup my system, because the last install got me 4 years, my windows install goes and corrupts today. Wooo. Stupid computers.
