I'll plug it in the St Louis meet thread, too. Seems most of us are from the Illinois side of the river anyway.

I think I'll be in your neighborhood this weekend for Pole Day at Indy. Supposed to go to Dallas or Rochester, but the forecast for both is Thunderstorms. I don't mind Chicago in the rain cause I know the place... I'm not going anywhere new with bad weather.

So since I can't go to the race this year (Digital UK Meet), I'll just have to settle for Pole Day.

Since there seems to be some interest in a central IL meet I will contact the op on Monday to see if we can get something set up for the future. I'm not really sure if he is still interested in doing a meet as he hasn't been on the forums in a while

Yeah, Indy is only 45 mins for me. I was considering going to a practice day or something. Hopefully the weather holds out for you. I am looking into maybe coming to the st. louis meet on the 30th but don't know yet.

Is this going to be an on going meet or a one time event?

With the interest this has generated, I don't think we should let it die because the OP is no where to be found, there's got to be a park/forest preserve in the area that we could take over, much like the chicago & st. louis meets operate currently. Anyone familiar with the area?
