Ahh, good idea. I'm here with a couple locals from my area, couple of techs from an oil company. Not sure what we're going to be up to, but not apposed to ditching them to meet up with some mp3car people.

You need to get out more...there's a bar on every street corner in Las Vegas! What? oh, I see....never mind.

I've been walking around for an hour and have not seen a bar or slot machine yet. I suppose it would help if I wasn't wandering around behind the casinos, oh well

Hehe....be careful out there. All joking aside, try to avoid the more remote areas of the parking garages or anywhere "off the beaten path". Vegas has quite possibly the highest unemployment rate in America and times have been tough for a while here. All of which has lead to a pretty significant increase in crime (in general) and crimes aimed at tourists in particular. Common sense and the buddy system are always a good idea.

I'm looking forward to being down there tomorrow for a full day of wishing I had a LOT more money.

Last year I was really behind the casinos, luckily not tonight, but Vegas has little appeal to me when I'm here on my own, ces and mp3car on the other hand do

I had lots of fun in Vegas, although I did not get to see some of you guys. I think what caught my attention at CES was the Xi3 computer, the smallest PC I have ever seen. I thought this would be great for in-car pc use because of its small factor. I talked to one of their engineers about MP3car and how we put PC in our cars, and he said he is willing to lend us one Xi3 PC to test it and review it in the car environment. If anyone here is willing to do that that would be great, since I don't have my car ready yet.
