I talked to one of their engineers about MP3car and how we put PC in our cars, and he said he is willing to lend us one Xi3 PC to test it and review it in the car environment. If anyone here is willing to do that that would be great, since I don't have my car ready yet.

Here are some pics I took of the PC, you can also find more info here: http://xi3.org/
Thanks for pointing this out man. Its definitely not the smallest PC I've seen (Habey BIS series comes to mind), but it certainly has all of the options and power other devices seem to lack. Did you get any contact information from the individual (cant quite make it out in the photo)? PM me if you'd like. Great find!

I noticed it requires 19v for power. There are limited automotive PSUs capable of that at this time. But I definitely think we should get one in and give it a shot.

At $850 for a unit with an 8gb Flash drive (Not windows compatible), I wonder what the actual market is for this box. No question it's a really nice looking design, but maybe a little on the pricey side once you get something that will work for the "average" user.

Display port, esata...maybe usb 3.0? I like it a lot, great computer. Yeah, kind of expensive.

If it's completely silent, great. I can see that in my desktop, kitchen or my kids room (not at that price). The lack of storage is not much of a problem, I think, but the lack of windows is.

The price point is a bit high but its not too far off from all-in-one solutions that exist today. Consider the fact that its proprietary technology and i can see the reasoning for the price. Bottom line is there aren't any "mini" pcs out there that can match the power and specifications of this board. That's what appeals to me
