ST LOUIS AREA MEET: SATURDAY 18 JUNE , CARONDELET PARK
Location Details:Carondelet Park - Lake Dr and Holly Hills Rd intersection. Take I-55 South from Downtown to exit 202c: Loughborough Ave

I'll be at the intersection of Lake Dr and Holly Hills Rd on my lounger in the shade with my MP3Car T-Shirt draped over the back. This park was chosen to not get too far from the riverfront and in order to have a place right off a major highway (I-55 South exit 202c: Loughborough Ave). I know getting back to Illinois from I-55 is a little hazardous, but its the best I could do: Bathrooms are about 500 yards away; there's plenty of shade; its in a beautiful location; and no park rangers on site.
About the Meet:
For those unfamiliar with the MP3Car meets, everyone welcome, regardless of whether you have a system installed or not. It's a chance to show up and shoot the **** with car pc enthusiasts. A chance to check out one another's installs, bounce ideas off each other, you get the idea. I will be bringing a grill, and everyone generally shows up with random food related items. If you have a taste for something, grilled or otherwise, bring it along, otherwise just show up. I expect us to be there from Noon until dusk, so come when you can and leave when you have to. If this goes well, I'd love to emulate the Chicago meets with scheduled monthly gatherings. This post will be updated as the thread/year progresses.

I would like to still see a meet happen too. I was trying to throw out some places in that last STL and Central IL threads but they all seemed to fizzle out. Some where in IL seemed to be good as we were getting Chicago and STL folks plus those of us in no mans land in the middle. No one seemed interested in the most recent places I listed so I just dropped it.
I'm certainty interested in a meet at Carondelet park. Let's work out a date and make it happen.

My weekends always seem to fill with random junk but I know 100% I am free the weekend of June 18-19.
