AZ peeps

Supermike, my concerns the same. I am not wanting to duct the ac unit and was curious how everyone was doing it. Is the trunk out of the question?

Well, this thread has alot of good info, but not sure how many people have to deal with the extreme heat of AZ - thats why I asked in this thread.

There seems to be alot of drawbacks to the trunk, especially since the conventional ways of cooling with fans and heatsinks will not cool below the ambient temp which can get high in a sealed trunk. That is why I am ducting AC which in my case is easy since I am mounting the PC in the dash below the center AC vent :D

I'd love to see what people have around here. I don't have anything set up, but would really like to see the possibilities...

i live in goodyear just west of phoenix, i know this thread is really old but if anyone wants to get together thru instant messenger or even if somebody gets together a monthly meet or something (I would but i got too many plates on the burner right now with other meets i started up).

current projects , wont have time for the car puter for Hot Import Nights, but already have a decent laptop designated for it. still deciding on which touch screen. and hav an idea how it will be powered plus plan to use my existing pocket pc phone bluetooth for the internet.
