Gilbert resident here
this definently sounds like AZ folks threads like 3 years old and probably still not one meet. LOL. East Mesa here i am always down. i currently am rebuilding my carputer funds until then its my double din pioneer but i would love to see what others are doing in the area. I hear alot about the pavillions in scottsdale does stuff still go down there? any way i think the east valley could use a meeting especiallynow that it finally cooled off. contact me at [email protected]
I live out in Queen Creek but I work in Mesa. Just ordered my touch screen, and then I will be using an old laptop until I can afford my actual car computer.
Car is 3 years old now, car-puter has been in about 2 of the 3. Ive changed it around 3 times. If anyone decides they want to do this, really.
These new Atom based laptops are becoming cheaper to buy, last I seen in the range of $250-400 for a decent pc that does what you need in most carputers. the only thing lacking at times is harddrive space, but easily added for either replacing to larger drive, or adding usb powered harddrive or an Ipod.

I stumble on this site from here to there.
It would seem we still don't have critical mass for group meetings...yet....
And I might be moving out of state. *sigh* Well, at least the GPS will come in handy
Nope, still here Trying to decide on a screen though, these Valley summers won't be kind...
Where are meets usually held? Parks? Maybe a meet at Freestone Park in the East Valley (Gilbert)? IDK, just a thought, if anyone else is still active on here The weather will be tolerable for the next few weeks/two months.
Checking in. I've got a brother in Phoenix that I could stay with if I were to make the drive. It's only 6 hours from here. Would beat going to the SoCal meets or the Texas meets.
The best resurrected frontend I've ever used, period.
I'm located in Tucson but I would definitely be game for driving to Phoenix to get together with some of you guys.
