wizard ... so i guess you'll be coming across i-20? when you get to the 85/75 intersection you'll go north ... i don't think you can exit at north ave coming north, but you'll figure it out.
wish i could make it with people coming from all over ... maybe if it's early enough and my flight is late enough??? we'll see.

see, I might come. It all depends on what my exam situation looks like, and whether or not I actually have a complete system in the car. My carputer situation is kinda wierd, I'm building a system for someone else so I don't know if my carputer will be in, or if his will.

Hey, Kefka I'm a former GA Southern Student....I know all about that ride you're talking about. Should be a good ride with a carputer though.....You guys need to come, the more the merrier.
I want to encourage everyone in the area to come to this meet, EVEN IF YOUR PROJECT IS NOT COMPLETE, OR NOT EVEN STARTED, OR if you're not exactly brimming with pride over your ride! The idea of the meet is to, well,.....MEET. It's not necessarily a "show", unless you've got some really cool work that you've done. The main idea is to network with each other and talk about this cool technology. We need to exchange ideas and give each other advice, and learn from what others have done.
So by all means, COME ANYWAY, even if your ride (or project) is not ready for "show". If you're worried about what your stuff looks like, park somewhere else (it's a huge parking lot) and WALK over to where we're parked....
JUST COME!

I would love to go but...I'm leaving 5am of the 24th for some long needed beach time, I won't be back till the 31st. Maybe the next meet I'll have a better chance to make it.

Actually I'm pretty sure I am gonna be able to make it. I just realized that this is the weekend before my final exams for my summer courses, and I'm not sure if I can work a weekend trip to ATL into my budget right now. I still need to save money for a screen (the last necessary component I need) and the trip would set me back at least $100. And to top it all off my two best friends who I normally visit when I go up to ATL will be out of town.
Even with a carputer I think I would still loath the boring expanse of GA highway that is I-16

Hey guys, I'm new to the carputer thing, I've spent the last few months just searching and finding out information on the forums, and I'm glad I found this one.
I would be interested in coming to the meet, I'm still in the process of gettin my pc all together, but I have an 8" liliput, and a desktop in the trunk now.
